IMF and World Bank have said not to give subsidies, says Ishaq Dar

WASHINGTON (92 News) - Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says that IMF and World Bank have asked not to give subsidies and have assured him that Pakistan will continue its economic policies.

Talking to media in Washington, the finance minister said that 15 to 20 percent of the budget reforms have been left, and it is hoped that Pakistan will get out of the FATF gray list.

Ishaq Dar further said that international organizations have estimated the damages of 32.4 billion dollars due to floods. The World Bank has proposed third-party complementary monitoring of flood rehabilitation projects.
