ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PPP leader Abdul Qadir Patel has said that ministers were imported in each tenure and the imported ministers always supported the International Monetary Fund.

Expressing his views about the federal budget in the National Assembly on Saturday, he said that Pakistan’s foreign debt increased by 76 percent in the PTI tenure.

“We will have to bring the people responsible for this situation to justice. It is not sufficient to tell the statistics of the GDP. No GDP is justified unless the people are prosperous,” he added.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan said that the country’s economy is in a shambles. “The security situation is in an abysmal state. Who is responsible for the failure of the intelligence and attacks on foreigners and our jawans?” he questioned.

He said that all stakeholders will have to work for solidarity of the country.

MQM leader Mustafa Kamal demanded that the economic emergency should be enforced in the country. “Foreign debt soared due to the people at the helm, but the people are paying the price for it. Pandol is not the treatment for the economy, but a complete surgery,” he added.

He said that Nawaz Sharif should donate Raiwind Palace, Asif Zardari should donate Bilawal House and the PTI founder should donate Bani Gala House if they want to win the trust of 240 million people of Pakistan.
