October 19, 2016
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Wednesday said that the people will not forget Panama leaks by watching Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurating roads. Talking to media at Bani Gala on Wednesday, he said that the country would sink into more debt if the corrupt mafia ruled the country, adding that the corrupt mafia will have to go at all cost. “If these people didn’t go they will get more and more rich.” The PTI leader said that it would be impossible to stop a sea of people in Islamabad on November 2. Khan said that a prime minister is answerable to democratic government but there is nothing in the country like this, adding that they will have to answer for their corruption. The PTI chairman said that Nawaz Sharif cannot mislead the people by talking about roads and bridges. Kaptan made it clear that no one has any objection on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said: “The government would be responsible for any backlash if they tried to stop the protest.” On the other hand, PTI chairman Imran Khan decided not to appear before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on November 2 but his lawyers would attend the hearing. He directed his legal team to complete preparation for the hearing. Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and his colleague Jahangir Tareen to appear before it on Nov 2 in connection with reference filed against the two PTI top leaders. ECP has issued notices to Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen to appear personally or file response through their lawyers on Nov 2 on a reference forwarded by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq seeking Khan’s disqualification.
