Imran-Bushra 'nikkah' during Iddat: Verdict on Aon Ch's inclusion as witness reserved

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad district and sessions court on Wednesday reserved verdict on the inclusion of Aon Chaudhary as witness in the 'nikkah' case of PTI chairman Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi during the period of 'Iddat' (period of waiting for a woman after her divorce or death of her husband).

The verdict will be announced on April 27.

The petitioner's counsel stated that Aon Chaudahry was present in the nikkah ceremony and he wanted to record his statement with regard to the ceremony. He prayed to court Aon Chaudahry should be allowed to record his statement as a witness.
