Imran Farooq murder case: JIT begins investigations

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The joint investigation team (JIT) formed by the federal government to investigate Dr Imran Farooq murder case a day after the two-member team of Scotland Yard arrived in Islamabad to investigate the case will begin its work today (Wednesday). As per reports, the JIT headed by Federal Investigation Agency Director Inam Ghani, will interrogate two suspects Mohsin Ali and Khalid Shamim in connection with the MQM leader's murder. Prime suspect Moazzam Ali was also shifted from Karachi to Islamabad. He is accused of having arranged visas and ticketsfor the two key suspects – Mohsin Ali Syed and Mohammad Kashif Kamran. Kamran is still at large.
