Imran Farooq murder case: Six-member Scotland Yard team arrives in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A six-member team of Scotland Yard arrived in Islamabad to investigate the accused of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq. The team comprises of Stuart James, David Walter Smith, Garry Martin, Clare Margret, Taylor Keith and Smantha Lewis. The team will complete the investigation in three rounds. In the first round, the team will investigate suspect Muazzam Ali. In the second round and third round, the team will conduct interrogations from Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali Syed respectively. The Pakistan law-enforcement agencies will also share investigation reports with the Scotland Yard team. According to sources, the investigations will be conducted in Islamabad and the suspects have been transferred to Islamabad at an unknown place. “More important revelations and evidance could be revealed in the investigations,” sources said. The team will leave after investigating the suspects.
