June 19, 2015
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Two key accused of the Imran Farooq murder case have been shifted to Islamabad from Quetta by special plane on Friday. Moshin Ali and Khalid Shamim, who were arrested near the Pak-Afghan border, revealed that they had used a brick and a sharp-edged weapon to kill Dr Imran Farooq. “We were assisted in London too.” Sources revealed that the accused had confessed to the crime and said they had been hired to kill Dr Imran Farooq. “We also spied on Imran Farooq several times in North London from February to September 2010. Owing to security in London, we planned to kill Imran Farooq with a sharp-edged weapon instead of a pistol or a gun,” the accused revealed. After registering the arrest, the accused will be produced before a magistrate who will record their statement. Meanwhile, authorities have informed the British government about the arrest of the accused. British High Commissioner Philip Barton will meet Interior Minister Ch Nisar in this regard on Monday.
