LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has accused the government of carrying out revengeful activities against his party.
Addressing the workers through the video link on Thursday, he said that the rulers are pressurizing the judiciary to avoid the elections.
He said that the 'Jail Bharo' movement and offering arrests are ways of lodging peaceful protest. "Today efforts are being made to disqualify me. The corrupt election commissioner is running the election campaign of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)," he added.
The PTI chairman said that the caretaker government's task is to hold the elections in 90 days. "Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi was forced to abandon the support for Imran Khan. The protesting workers are being treated like terrorists. The 'Jail Bharo' movement is strengthening the resolve of the people," he maintained.
He said that the nation is waiting for the protests. "Shehbaz Sharif has never allowed the judiciary to work honestly. It has been clearly written in the constitution that the elections cannot be delayed beyond 90 days," he added.
