KARACHI (92 News) – Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has said that the government will not increase the prices of POL products, but it will convince the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Talking to the media, he said that they would return to Pakistan after signing the agreement.

"I am going to Doha for holding the last phase of dialogues with the IMF. The Imran Khan government deliberately planted explosive devices on the way of the economy. He signed the agreement to increase the prices of the POL products by Rs150," he added.

He said that Imran Khan is the enemy of the progress of the country and he always preferred personal interests to national interests. "The new sit-in is aimed at saving Gogi. Usman Buzdar sold out 16 licences of cement factories," he alleged.

He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said that the nation cannot bear load of increasing petroleum product prices.
