Imran Khan announces to move SC against LHC verdict

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has announced to move the Supreme Court against the verdict of the Lahore High Court.

Addressing the lawyers convention on Thursday, he said that how Hamza Shehbaz could remain the chief minister if the verdict against him had been announced.

He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had taken three weeks to restore five reserved seats of the PTI. "Those trying to maintain this setup are discrediting themselves as well as the institutions," he added.

The former premier said that immediate and fair elections are solution to all problems. "There will be no future of the country if the powerful is given the NRO," he added.

He said that those benefitted from the regime change do not want to hold an inquiry on the cypher. "Shehbaz Sharif has spent Rs50 billion on the advertisements. After seeing the advertisements, they thought that Shehbaz Sharif would rectify all the matters. We told the neutrals that the rulers will not be able to control the economy if the country faced instability," he added.

Imran Khan said that it was an insult to the country that a US officer is asking for removing the prime minister.
