Imran Khan condemns killing of varsity student

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Friday strongly condemned the killing of a student at a university in Mardan.

In his message on social media website, he said that he is in touch with Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since last night on condemnable lynching of student in Mardan.

The PTI chairman said that firm action necessary, adding that the law of the jungle cannot prevail.

Earlier on Thursday, Mashaal Khan, a student of the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, was brutally beaten to death by the student mob, for allegedly “publishing blasphemous content online”.

Students staged protests following the alleged blasphemy committed by Mishal.
