Imran Khan decides to file a reference against chief election commissioner in Judicial Commission

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has decided to file a reference against the chief election commissioner in the Judicial Commission.

During a meeting, PTI leaders have expressed concern over a meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members in the foreign funding case.

They said that the chief election commissioner had violated the code of conduct. According to the decisions made during the meeting, no-confidence will be tabled in two assemblies against the ECP.

PTI chairman Imran Khan has directed the legal experts to start work in this regard.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said that a meeting of the chief election commissioner and members with a party is the violation of the constitution. "Now the decisions will not be made in closed doors," he added.
