Imran Khan demands immediate elections across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former prime minister Imran Khan has demanded that elections should be held immediately across the country.

In a video message, he said that an imported government had been imposed under a big conspiracy. “We are going to Peshawar tomorrow and talk about the imported government,” he added.

According to sources, Imran Khan will chair the party meeting to exchange views. PTI senior leaders and provincial presidents will participate in the meeting.

Addressing a press conference, PTI leader Shafqat Mahmood said that the PTI has decided to hold public meetings in Lahore and Karachi on April 23 and 16.

He said that it is their bligation to make an independent foreign policy. “Looters joined together and toppled the elected government. The atmosphere of revolution was formed on Sunday. Masses will not accept this conspiracy,” he added.

He said that immediate elections should be conducted when such circumstances occur. “When Shehbaz Sharif was about to be convicted Shehbaz Sharif took oath,” he concluded.
