Imran khan files plea against his disqualification

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has on Wednesday filed petition in the Supreme Court seeking dismissal of the petition seeking his disqualification.

The petition was filed by Naeem Bukhari, counsel of the PTI chairman in which he stated the petitioner Haneef Abbasi himself is nominated in the Ephedrine Case and the wants to show his loyalty for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The petitioner further requested the court to dismiss the petition seeking his disqualification.

On the other hand, the apex court will hear petitions seeking disqualification of PTI chairman Imran Khan and party leader Jahangir Tareen as MNAs.

A three member bench of the apex court will hear the petition filed by Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader Haneef Abbasi.

Abbasi has accused the two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders of hiding assets and money laundering.
