Imran Khan gives call for countrywide protest at 9pm on Sunday

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan gave the call for a countrywide protest against the increase in the prices of POL products at 9pm on Sunday.

In a video message on Thursday, he said that he would address the nation at 10pm on Sunday. He said that hefty increase had been made in the POL prices.

Imran Khan said that he had given the subsidy of Rs200 billion on petrol and diesel to save the people from inflation.

"We also gave a relief to farmers and traders. The power price was at Rs16 per unit during the PTI government and now it was Rs29.5 per unit," he added.

He said that he hoped that the people would come out for peaceful protest.
