Imran Khan granted interim bail in prohibited funding case till October 31

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Special Central Judge Raja Asif Mahmood granted bail to PTI chairman Imran Khan in the prohibited funding case till October 31.

The court also ordered him to furnish the surety bonds worth Rs100,000.

As many as 10 people have been nominated in the case registered under the Foreign Exchange Act.

The counsel for Imran Khan said that the ambit had yet to be decided by the Islamabad High Court. The court questioned about the nature of the allegations, saying that if the allegations are with regard to a government employee then the court has power to intervene.

The judge remarked that he was granting bail on the direction of the IHC.
