Imran Khan has created one Pakistan for rich, another for poor: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has created one Pakistan for the rich and another for the poor on Tuesday.

In a statement, criticised the incumbent government PTI, BIlawal Bhutto said that the PML-N had given amnesty of up to Rs43 billion to 135 rich families during its tenure. "The PTI government gave amnesty of more than Rs20 billion to 56 wealthy families in the country," he added.

"The ones giving amnesty to the rich after claiming to bring them in the tax net should explain what they have done for a commoner," he asked. He lamented that a rich man is benefitting from tax amnesty in the reign of the PTI while a common man is labeled tax evader despite paying taxes.

"More than 80 million ordinary Pakistanis who do not even come under the ambit of income tax are forced to pay up to 12.5% advance income tax on mobile phones."

"The gap between rich and poor is widening due to unequal economic policies," Bilawal Bhutto said, adding that the PPP is the only party which makes economic policies keeping in view the conditions of common man.
