Imran Khan in his lust for power has become a threat to country: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that PTI chairman Imran Khan in his lust for power has become a threat to the country.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the PTI chairman had made appointments in the Army a political topic. "For Imran Khan, everything is okay when he is in the power and everything is wrong when he is out of the power," he added.

The minister said that Imran Khan Niazi yesterday made such attack on the armed forces that cannot be made by any enemy. "It is time to make Imran Khan Niazi accountable," he maintained.

He said that Imran Khan had attacked the institutions during the last four months. "Imran Khan wants chaos in the country. He is attacking the economy directly," he added.

Khawaja Asif said that there were numerous scandals of corruption against Imran Khan and his family. "It has been target of India to weaken the economy and defence of Pakistan since the independence," he observed.
