Imran Khan left after planting explosive device in economy, says Miftah Ismail

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said that Imran Khan had left after planting an explosive device in the economy.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the growth rate in the Nawaz Sharif era was 6.1 percent and the PTI government had taken it to negative.

The minister said that the PML-N had left the inflation at 3.9 percent and now it was at 13 percent. " Total debt of the country from 1947 to 2018 was Rs 25,000 billion whereas the PTI government added Rs 20,000 billion to this debt in just three and half years and did not return a penny."

He said that Prime Minister's direction for price reduction of 10 kilogram flour pack from Rs 550 to Rs 400 during Ramazan was accorded approval at federal cabinet meeting.
