ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan was given the guard of honor after becoming the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan. Imran Khan, who took oath as prime minister of Pakistan, was received a guard of honour on his arrival at Prime Minister's House by a contingent drawn from three services. On the occasion the national anthem was played. He inspected the guard of honour and took the salute. The staff of the PM House was introduced to the prime minister. He will be briefed at the house later today. Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan has announced that he will not stay at the PM House during his tenure. Earlier today, President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath of office to the newly elected Prime Minister at a simple but impressive ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr this morning. The ceremony was attended first lady Bushra Bibi, former cricketer Wasim Akram, prominent political personalities and leaders of PTI, former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, senior civil and military officials, foreign diplomats, and prominent personalities representing different walks of life.
