Imran Khan reaches Karachi to meet heatwave victims' families

KARACHI (92 News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday landed in Karachi from UK to meet families of the victims of heatwave that has killed more 970 people in five days. As per reports, Imran Khan cut his private visit to the UK to meet his sons short in lieu of the hundreds of deaths in Sindh. Talking to journalists at the airport, Imran Khan announced that he will visit hospitals to enquire about health of the victims and meet their families. "Both the center and Sindh government areresponsible for the deaths," Imran Khan said while talking to journalists. "The authorities were not prepared even after deaths of hundreds of people in India." More than 950 people have died in Sindh due to intense heat that left morgues short of space to store corpses, in the last five days.
