ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday expressed his regret at the words uttered by him about Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhary.

In his reply submitted to the Islamabad High Court, he said that he had neither any intention to threaten the female judge nor could he think about threatening a judge.

"During the public rally, the words were uttered by him unintentionally. I regret these words. Courts always accept the Islamic principles of forgiveness and tolerance. The court should withdraw the show-cause notice against me," he demanded.

The PTI chairman, in the reply, stated that he believed in the strength of the judiciary, including lower courts, for the provision of justice. "I assure court that I will be careful in the future."

He said that his and Talal Chaudhary's cases are of different nature. "The principle of forgiveness will be applied to this case. I will never give a statement affecting a sub judice case," he maintained.
