Imran Khan's close aide Imran Ismail also says goodbye

KARACHI (92 News) - Sindh former governor Imran Ismail also parted his ways with PTI chairman Imran Khan on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference, he said that it was his last press conference of his political career. "I with Imran Khan started working on Shaukat Khanum Hospital in 1993. I am among the four people who laid the foundation of the PTI," he added.

He said that he had struggled for 28 years. "I saw the dream of such Pakistan having progress and prosperity. The PTI underwent a change – encounter with the army. An inquiry should be held into the May 9 incidents and the people involved in it should awarded an exemplary punishment," he maintained.

Meanwhile, former minister Akhtar Malik and former MPA Tariq Abdullah also left the PTI. He also condemned the May 9 incidents.

Barrister Saifullah Niazi, another close aide of Imran Khan, also left the PTI. Earlier, Ibrarul Haq and Murad Ras also left the party.
