Imran Khan's govt not running country under constitution, says Murad Shah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's government is not running the country under the constitution.

Talking to the media after appearing before an accountability court in the Nooriabad power plant reference on Wednesday, he said that the matter pertaining to the electricity situation was not on the agenda of the joint cabinet meeting. "It is time for Imran Khan's government to leave. Talks about a change in the situation are being heard up to Karachi," he maintained.

Murad Ali Shah further said that the situation is uncertain due to NAB amendment law. "We want the reference move ahead and a verdict be announced at the earliest," he added.

Earlier, CM Murad Ali Shah and other accused appeared in court. CM Murad Ali Shah could not be indicted. The NAB submitted a reply on the plea of accused Niaz Ahmed Sheikh.

The court sought arguments on the next hearing on the plea of Niaz Sheikh. The hearing was adjourned till December 8.
