Imran Khan's objective is to make army chief's appointment controversial: Abbasi

JHELUM (92 News) - PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the objective is to make army chief's appointment controversial.

Addressing the workers' convention on Tuesday, he said that purpose of Imran Khan's threats of long march and sit-in is to create hurdle in the appointment. "Making the appointment of the army chief controversial will only benefit the enemy," he added.

He said that the 2018 elections were stolen. "Differences do exist in homes as well. A lie was told during the last four years," he maintained.

The former prime minister said that the PML-N is the only party that can rectify the conditions in the country.

"All decisions will be made as per constitution. Decisions and designations are being made controversial. Imran Khan's each word has turned out to be false," he added.
