Imran Khan says Nawaz Sharif is trying to deceive people

GUJRAT (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said on Tuesday former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, disqualified for public office by the Supreme Court, was trying to deceive the people. Addressing a gathering in Gujrat as part of the party's membership drive in Gujrat, Imran said Nawaz was the biggest thief in the country. “The godfather has left and the small don has made his entry. Now it is turn of Shahbaz Sharif,” he said. The PTI chairman said that the people comparing Nawaz Sharif with the Quaid-e-Azam should be shameful. He asked what kind of a democracy Sharif wanted if his brother had to succeed him in party office once he was disqualified.
