Imran Khan suspends party membership of Ziaullah Afridi

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday suspended the party membership of provincial minister Ziaullah Afridi following investigations against him in corruption cases. As per details, the decision in this regard was taken on the directives of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Friday. An official party memo has been issued to suspend the basic party membership of Ziaullah Afridi. “On the instructions of the chairman, the basic membership of Ziaullah Afridi, member provincial assembly from PK-1 Peshawar and minister for mines and minerals, government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is hereby suspended with immediate effect,” the notification issued by the party’s general secretary, Jahangir Khan Tareen read.
