Imran Khan unveils PTI' manifesto, announces to create 10mln jobs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday unveiled his party's manifesto for the General Election 2018. Addressing a ceremony to unveil the party's manifesto, Imran Khan vowed to make a welfare state in Pakistan. He announced that his party plans to create 10 million jobs in the country, adding that creating the 10 million jobs is the biggest challenge in Pakistan. Imran further said that PTI, if elected, will introduce housing schemes. The PTI will construct five million houses during its five year tenure. "New construction companies will be provided with a chance to create housing schemes. The government will facilitate new private sector players," he said. During the briefing about PTI's manifesto, the PTI chief said that the tourism department of the country will be promoted his tenure, adding that the corruption and unemployment will be removed from the country.He said that the concentrations on education is main priority of the PTI. Imran Khan stated that social justice and rules are the basis of progress for a country. "An easy solution to the problems that Pakistan is faced with does not exist," he said. "No one should assume that we will be able to easily implement this manifesto," he added. Discussing on the country's issues, he said that the national debt had significantly increased in the past ten years. He further noted that the country did not have a revenue-collection mechanism, adding that he will increase the revenue and decrease the expense of Pakistan. Furthermore, the PTI chief observed that the country's exports has been declined now, it will be regained during the PTI's tenure. On the other hand, he said that his party will work on taking advantage of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). "CPEC is not the game changer but it has great potential to benefit Pakistan. If elected, we will take advantage of the project to benefit Pakistan to the maximum possible extent," said Imran.
