MIANWALI (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday urged students to learn from tough times. Addressing the 7th Annual Convocation of NAMAL University in Mianwali, the prime minister said, “The tough times always teach and if you learn from it, it’s because you have higher education.” “It helps you analyse your faults and gives you a big advantage, the premier said. Never fear bad times, he said. “Success is learning from bad times,” he added. He also urged students to keep struggling, and achieving new goals. “The moment you stop, your ambition and dreams stop, you start going down.
All need to do fix our qibla
“Firstly, all need to do is fix your qibla, your life’s roadmap, he said. In the Holy Quran God says He made us for a reason. Each person must find their purpose. It’s in your heart, not your mind,” the premier said. “You must make your mind go where your heart is, PM Khan advised the students. “I’ve spent my life following my heart.”
Everyone can achieve its dream
“Remember, God has given us a lot of strength and we spend most of our lives without knowing what God has given us, he told students. “We don’t even try to access that strength,” Imran Khan said. He reminded the students that whatever they can picture, they can achieve. “This is the power in you. Whatever you can dream, you can do.” He said humans accept defeat and lose heart but God has given you the qualities to do whatever you want.
Govt to reform education system
PM Khan has reaffirmed the government's commitment to reform Pakistan's education system to put the country on road to progress and prosperity. He also said that no country in the world can make progress without upholding the true principles of education and merit. The prime minister said the states in the world can only rise, if they follow principles founded by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Madina. Imran Khan said social welfare programs of the incumbent government are aimed at transforming Pakistan into a country where social equality prevails. Terming youth as a valuable asset of nation, the prime minister said that youth are playing crucial role in steering the nation out of prevailing challenges.
PM hails NAMAL University for economic prosperity
The prime minister also appreciated the NAMAL University for playing a vital role in social growth and economic prosperity of the country. On foreign policy front, Imran Khan said the UAE, Saudi Arabia and China always stood by Pakistan in time of need. Earlier, in his address, Reactor NAMAL University Arif Nazir Butt said the university is working on vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to equip students with necessary academic knowledge and requisite professional skills in diverse fields.
