Imran Khan wants to uproot democracy in Pakistan: Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that Imran Khan wants to uproot democracy in Pakistan.

Reacting to the speech of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday, he said that Imran Khan wants neither to play nor let anyone to play.

"Have you (Imran Khan) been sleeping? You brought the letter in the National Security Committee after three weeks. Now the people will not be deceived by your tirade," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Imran Khan is busy in a heinous conspiracy instead of accepting his defeat. "Imran Khan wants to clash with the constitution. The institutions should take all steps necessary for peaceful voting. We hope that environment will be peaceful tomorrow," he added.

He said that Imran Niazi will have to lick after spitting. "Nations make progress by hard work, not by necromancy. Some people tried to present my statement after distortion," he maintained.
