Imran Khan's ideology most important than our desires, says Tareen

LODHRAN (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen has reiterated on Saturday that the ideology of Imran Khan is most important than his desires. Speaking to the journalists, Tareen said he had heard Qureshi's press conference but did not want to comment on it. He clarified that does not care about the designations. The PTI leader said that he supported the ideology of Imran Khan and his desire to make better Pakistan, adding no need to contest election. He also said that it dost not impact on him that he contests election or not. Tareen stressed that they are against dynastic politics due to which his son refused to contest election. “Other members of the party should also do not practice dynastic politics. Those who are receiving more than one party ticket should ponder over it,” he said. "These things cannot be done in PTI," he said, stressing that decisions on internal rifts should not be public on the media. "It is inappropriate to discuss any matters between individuals on the media," Tareen said.“I am not afraid of anyone,” he asserted. “I do not want to hurl criticism on party before media. I am not one of those who offer themselves good in front of the media. “Fights happen within the parties but the issues get resolved later. It has still not been decided whether a candidate from PTI will contest against Jamshaid Dasti or seat adjustment will be made,” said Tareen. Earlier on Friday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, vice-chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in a press conference on Friday had spoken about the internal rifts in the party with regard to the ongoing protests over ‘unfair’ ticket distribution from South Punjab. He had said that his competition was only in the political arena and he did not consider Tareen a competitor because the latter could not contest the polls.
