Imran Khan's NA-243, Ch Nisar's NA-59 nomination papers challenged

ISLAMABAD/ KARACHI (92 News) – The nomination papers of former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar from NA-59 Rawalpindi and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf chief from NA-243 Karachi were challenged on Tuesday. As per details garnered, a citizen Shahid Orakzai challenged Ch Nisar'snomination paper, stating that he was involved in case pertaining to attack on Supreme Court, therefore, he is not eligible to run for the parliament. The returning officer has asked the former minister to appear on June 13 for scrutiny of his nomination papers. Moreover, an appeal regarding the Sita White case was filed against Imran's nomination papers with the returning officer today. Scrutiny of Imran's nomination papers was then postponed till June 19, which is the last date for the process.
