ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's statement regarding apology from the prime minister tantamounts violation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) singed with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on the polls inquiry. Speaking to media men on Monday, the minister said that such an action doesn't suit the PTI chief. "Both the parties while constituting the Inquiry Commission (IC) had agreed that in case the IC determined that the election results did not reflect the true mandate of the people, the national and provincial assemblies would be dissolved and fresh general election would be held," he said. "If the IC found the mandate legal, the PTI's allegations over the validity of the election would stand withdrawn." In such a circumstance, Imran Khan's comments are disappointing he said.
