Imran Niazi carried out worst attack on constitution, SC: Ahsan Iqbal
NAROWAL (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahan Iqbal said that Imran Niazi had carried out the worst attack on the constitution and the Supreme Court.
Talking to the media on Sunday, he said that the government had admitted a constitutional amendment is mandatory for open ballot by presenting the bill in the assembly.
"Later, the government tried to change the constitution through the presidential ordinance. Tomorrow the government can announce rolling back the 18th amendment through the ordinance," he added.
He said that the presidential ordinance was an attack on the freedom of the Supreme Court.
