Imran Niazi should resign after being proved 'thief' and 'liar': Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has demanded that Imran Niazi should resign after being proved a thief and liar.

In a statement on Friday, he said that the ECP Scrutiny Committee had proved that Imran Niazi is neither 'Sadiq' nor 'Amin'.

"The case against Imran Khan should be heard on daily basis like Nawaz Sharif," he demanded. "Under the constitution, no thief or liar can be the prime minister of the country," he maintained.

He said that the prime minister would have resigned had this report in the foreign funding case surfaced in a western country. "On the page 92 of the report, it has been stated that the PTI concealed 53 bank accounts from 2009 to 2013. The SBP told that PTI had 65 bank accounts from 2009 to 2013," he added.
