ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that Imran Niazi has surrendered to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the economic war.

Criticizing the PTI government in a statement on Friday, he said that the keys of the State Bank of Pakistan had been given to the IMF. "The devastating effects of the mini-budget will emerge in the coming year," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said it was extreme of cruelty that it was being stated the mini-budget will not affect the poor. "The government itself inflicts inflation on the people and then says it is beyond its understanding."

He said that unemployment and economic destruction are due to the present government. "It is the reason that engine of the economic vehicle has been seized. Imran Niazi and Company was not already working and now it has entered the phase of bankruptcy," he maintained.

The PML-N president said that the PTI will take a new turn after taking the nation and Pakistan to a blind alley. "The people had to face severe problems, including electricity, gas and inflation, economic destruction and inflation," he added.
