Imran Niazi wasted 22 months of Metro Train project: Shahbaz Sharif

JHANG (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Imran Niazi had wasted 22 months of the Metro Train project. Addressing a ceremony held to lay the foundation stone of Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant on Saturday, he said that whosoever wants to hold him accountable should do eagerly. “No one is questioning those who destroyed the nation,” he said. The chief minister said that the people will hold Asif Zardari accountable if the NAB and the judiciary did not do so. Earlier, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif paid a visit to the site of Orange Line Metro Train Project earlier at 7am. After a long delay of 22 months, work on Orange Line has started again in the light of Supreme Court's decision. The CM was briefed about the latest status of development work at different points of OLMT project. During his visit to different points of Orange Line, CM directed the whole team to work round-the-clock and complete the project as soon as possible so that this huge gap because of stay orders could be compensated.
