KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Monday threatened to take to streets once again if another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would be signed again. Talking to media at the residence of party leader Yar Muhammad Rind, he again demanded early elections in the country. Taking a jibe at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Zardari, the PTI chairman said that they both looted the country, adding that first Nawaz Sharif signed an NRO with former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf, then it was signed with the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman. Khan further threatened to take to streets once again in case of another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). Criticizing the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), he said that the ECP cannot charge a party chairman with contempt of court. The PTI chairman lashed out at the PPP government for barring him from entering the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalander. “Lame excuses of armed guards were used but video recordings are available which dismiss their (Sindh govt) claims,” Khan added. PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur were looting the Sindh, he said.
