ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan will take oath as the 21st prime minister on August 18 as three former Indian cricketers also invited in the oath-taking ceremony. According to the PTI leaders, the preparations for the swearing-in would kick off from Saturday (today). It said that the oath-taking preparations process will take more than two days so it would be take place on on August 18. The preparation has been started with full enthusiasm, however, the Sherwani, which Imran Khan to wear during ceremony, has been stitched and invitation cards have distributed. In his tweet, Senator Faisal Javed said that three former Indian cricketers had been invited to Imran's oath-taking ceremony. "Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Navjot Singh Sidhu have been invited," he said, adding that Pakistan cricket team had also been invited to the ceremony.   Members of Imran Khan's 1992 World Cup winning team have also been invited to attend the ceremony. Meanwhile, Kapil Dev and Navjot Singh Sidhu accepted the invitation and they likely to join the ceremony in Pakistan. They said that they cricketers are very excited to come in Pakistan and both the cricketers will reach in Pakistan one day before the oath-taking ceremony. Earlier, PTI spokesperson Fawad Ch explained that Imran, being the prime minister, will stay at the ministers' enclave, however, he may have to stay at the Punjab House for a few days owing to repair work at the house. A couple of days ago, PTI leader Naeemul Haque had said that Imran would reside at the chief minister's annexe at Punjab House, after taking oath as premier. In his first speech after PTI emerged victorious in the July 25 polls, Imran had said he was likely to turn the Prime Minister House into an educational institute. President Mamnoon Hussain has already summoned a session of the National Assembly on August 13 during which newly-elected members will take oath of their office. President Mamnoon also postponed foreign trip to administer oath to next PM.
