In the latest ranking Lahore again comes first in the list of most polluted cities in the world
LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore has once again top the list of most polluted cities in the world with 364 air quality index, While New Delhi ranked second and Kolkata stands third.
It has become difficult for citizens to breathe properly due smog and polluted air quality. Polluted air also causes swelling of eyes.
In the surrounding areas of National Hockey Stadium ratio of air pollution remained 333 and 297 in Town Ship and 265 in Town Hall air quality index was recorded.
On the other hand, there are chances of closing down educational institutes due to smog. Education department and parents opposed the opinion of closing schools. Provinsional Minister for School Education Dr. Murad Raas has said that already due to Covid-19 education of students have suffered a lot.
When people send me messages to shut schools for some odd reasons, I am shocked. The learning losses our Children have suffered are tremendous since COVID. At this point, Schools should be last place to ever shut down. Who are these ignorant people? Unbelievable!

The decision to close educational institutions from December 15 to January 16 due to smog will be taken at a conference of inter-provincial ministers of education on December 13.
