Incessant rain continues to wreak havoc in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - Incessant rain continued to wreak havoc, inundating more areas in the city.

As per details, Karachi is completely shrouded in clouds. Intermittent rain is continuing in different parts of city including Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Quaidabad, Landhi, Korangi, Malir and Shah Faisal Colony. It also rained in Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan Iqbal, Azizabad, New Karachi, Orangi Town, Baldia Town, Kharadar, Kemari, Ranchhod Line, Mehmoodabad, Defense and Clifton.

Due to the rain, water accumulated in many areas. Even walking in the streets became difficult. Citizens are facing difficulties in transportation due to the inundation of roads.

On the other hand, Sindh government had already announced to keep the educational institutions closed for two days due to rain. The meteorological department said that the rain is likely to continue till tomorrow.
