Incessant rain inundates low-lying areas in several cities of Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – Intermittent rain continued in different cities of Punjab on Sunday.

People received a respite from the sweltering heat.

On the other hand, rainwater could not be drained out from most of the low-lying areas of the city, which is causing severe problems for the citizens. Streets and roads turned into ponds and several feet water accumulated there. The traffic flow was badly disrupted due to accumulation of rainwater.

According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity will remain at 83 percent today while the rains are likely to continue till this evening.
