RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Incessant rain inundated low-lying areas in twin cities on Saturday.

Streets became ponds due to the choked sewerage in several areas. Rainwater entered the houses, causing problems for the people.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of removal of rainwater from the low-lying areas at the earliest.

On the other hand, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has stated that the monsoon rain spell is likely to continue for two day. Floods are likely in streams due to incessant rain in mountainous areas.

The district administration has made arrangements to deal with floods.
