Incessant rain lashes parts of Punjab, including Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Incessant rain on Saturday has lashed parts of Punjab including Lahore.

Almost all streets and roads turned into ponds and several feet water accumulated there. The city began to look like Venice. The traffic flow was badly disrupted due to accumulation of rainwater.

According to the reports, rain is continue in China Scheme, Johar Town, Canal Road, Canal View, Township, Amir Chowk, Defense Road, Mozang, Lytton Road, Raiwind and other areas.

In China Scheme, incessant rain since last night have brought knee-deep water to the roads and streets.

According to the Meteorological Department, the rain will continue till Sunday.
