India always tried to blacklist Pakistan: FM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi said India always tried that Pakistan should be blacklisted. Speaking to the journalists, the foreign minister termed that some forces wanted to divide “Muslim Ummah”. “Everyone knows that there are motives behind the politics of sit-in,” he maintained. Shah Mehmood Qureshi has mentioned that Pakistan Peoples’ party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto, who ever called the sit-in as harmless, now should point out why he is speaking in favour of this sit-in. “Shehbaz Sharif himself says his opinion is also opposing to held sit-in. He disagreed with this protest. Bilawal and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari have also said that they are against the politics of sit-ins,” he said. He asked, “I want to ask Bilawal, is the sit-in not a threat to democracy today? Referring to Kashmir issue, the minister said Pakistanis will continue standing by their Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle for freedom from Indian occupation. “People of Pakistan come out of their houses to express solidarity with Kashmiris every Friday, and today too they are going to hold demonstrations in support of Kashmiris under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said.
China endorsed Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir
To a question, FM Qureshi said China has been endorsing Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir at all international forums and backed Pakistan's position on Kashmir issue during Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Beijing.
PM’s upcoming visit to Iran and Saudi Arabia
To another question regarding the PM’s upcoming visit to Iran and Saudi Arabia, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Prime Minister has a plan to reduce tension between the two countries and he will be visiting the two countries for the same purpose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz2LBNAwKaM Earlier, FM Qureshi said that Meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping was important before his Indian short visit. He was speaking in Beijing about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s meetings with the Chinese leadership. “The Chinese president is paying a short informal visit to India and it was our mutual desire to take each other into confidence regarding the visit,” he maintained. FM Qureshi has said such unique is the relationship between Pakistan and China that they always take each other into confidence on all important matters. He said it is the third visit of the Prime Minister to China in the last thirteen months.
