BEIJING (Web Desk) - India defeated Pakistan 2-1 in their final round match of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
The match between the traditional rivals was played at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China.
Pakistan took the lead in the first quarter as Hannan Shahid pushed the ball to Ahmad Nadeem who netted the goal easily.

However, India bounced back as Captain Harmanpreet Singh steered the ball goalward in the first and second quarters of the match.
It is worth mentioning here that both Pakistan and India have qualified for the semi-finals of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
Pakistan defeated China 5-1 on Thursday, and they also defeated Japan in their third game.
The first two matches of Men in Green ended in a draw against Malaysia and South Korea, respectively.
