ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The leadership of India and Pakistan armies will hold a flag meeting on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector of Indian-held Kashmir on Monday in a bid to restore the ‘sanctity’ of the border ceasefire, which has frayed with both sides opening heavy fire at each other in recent months. The brigade commander-level flag meeting will be held at the Chakan da Bagh crossing on the LoC. The ceasefire violations have escalated in the last few days, resulting in large number of civilian causalities and collateral damage to properties. The field commanders from both sides will discuss the modalities to defuse the tense situation.
