India, under Modi, moving systematically with its Hindu Supremacist agenda: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that India, under Modi, has been moving systematically with its Hindu Supremacist agenda. In a series of tweets on Thursday, he said: “Starting with illegal annexation and continuing siege of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK). Then stripping Indian Muslim in Assam of citizenship, setting up internment camps and now passing Citizenship Amendment Law. All this accompanied by mob lynching of Muslims and other minorities in India.” https://twitter.com/ImranKhanPTI/status/1205046709010812929?s=20 The prime minister said that the world must realize, as appeasement of the genocidal Supremacist agenda of Nazi Germany eventually led to WWII. Modi's Hindu Supremacist agenda, accompanied by threats to Pak under a nuclear overhang, will lead to massive bloodshed and far-reaching consequences for the world. https://twitter.com/ImranKhanPTI/status/1205046713951670273?s=20 “As in Nazi Germany, in Modi's India dissent has been marginalised and the world must step in before it is too late, to counter this Hindu Supremacist agenda of Modi's India threatening bloodshed and war,” he said. On Thursday, India moved thousands of troops into the northeastern state of Assam after violent protests overnight against a new law that would make it easier for non-Muslim minorities from some neighbouring countries to seek Indian citizenship. Critics say it undermines the country’s secular constitution by not offering protection to Muslims while others argue it will open India’s northern states to a flood of foreigners. Resistance to the bill has been the strongest in the tea-growing Assam state, where a movement against illegal immigrants from its neighbouring Bangladesh has simmered for decades. In Assam, protesters defied a curfew, torching cars and tyres and chanting anti-Modi slogans.
