KARACHI (92 news) – President Dr Arif Alvi has said that India also wants to harm the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar projects on Monday. Speaking at inaugural brief of naval exercise Shamseer-e-Bahar VII and Tarseel-e-Bahar II in Karachi, the president – who was briefed on Pakistan's Navy's war and operational preparedness – said Pakistan’s defence is in safe hands and I am proud of the armed forces of Pakistan.
Pakistan to continue highlighting Indian barbarism in IoK
Arif Alvi said that Pakistan would continue highlighting Indian barbarism in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) at every level until Kashmir issue is resolved. He said India’s illegal steps in IoK will have impact on the overall security situation in South Asia. Representative from all the three services and ministries concerned will take part in Shamsheer-e-Bahar Exercise. Shamsheer-e-Bahar Exercise is a biennial event conducted to analyze the ideas at practical level, which can later be made part of the naval strategy. Earlier, Arif Alvi has said that fascist and unilateral acts by the Indian government in Occupied Kashmir have put regional and international peace at risk. He was talking to a parliamentary delegation from United Kingdom on Tuesday. The President said that Indian cruelties in Occupied Kashmir have shaken the world. “The minorities are unsafe in India as well. The international community should take notice of it,” he demanded. The President said that human rights organizations across the world are alarmed at the grave situation in held territory due to denying of basic civil liberties of oppressed Kashmiris. “There are serious questions about Indian claims of being the biggest secular democracy, as Indian minorities are insecure and living under severe threat of being persecuted by the fanatic Hindus,” he claimed.
