India will deliver medicines and wheat to Afghanistan through Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Matters revolved between India and Pakistan regarding sending wheat and medicines to Afghanistan through Pakistan.

According to a report, India will start sending aid to Afghanistan from February 22. Matters of sending 50 thousand metric tons wheat and medicines to Afghanistan have been settled between Pakistan and India.

Sources say that wheat and medicines will reach to Jalalabad on Afghan trucks from Wagah border to Torkham border. Wheat and medicines would be delivered to World food Organization.

India has sent details to Pakistan of sixty trucks which will bring relief supplies. India has already sent details of Afghan contractors, drivers and focal persons.

Earlier, foreign ministry had asked technical details for delivering aid supplies from Delhi in start of January. Pakistan had allowed India to use its ground for delivering aid supplies in Afghanistan on humanitarian basis.
